With world class smallmouth waters around us and a number of big, healthy, natural fish out there, smallmouth fishing is an opportunity you just can't pass up. Whether you're just starting out fishing, new to fly fishing, or an avid angler, Smallmouth sure don't disappoint! Smallmouth fishing is a great opportunity for family outings, business trips, or a relaxing but exciting, day out on the water. We fish waters with trophy size smallmouth reaching over 20 inches (5 lbs). There is nothing more exciting than watching these acrobatic fish hit your bait, jump out of the water, and give you a good fight!

Trips are available for lake or rivers all over Minnesota. We offer Gear, live bait, and Fly Fishing Trips!

Our crew run a variety of different boats from 18-25ft long to accommodate groups of people. Our flagship boat is a 25ft Skeeter Bay Boat equipped with the best electronics in the business and multiple Live Scope Units to be able to find the fish fast and stay on fish. Our Boats can fit the whole family, corporate groups and handicap.

No matter the experience you are looking for we can accommodate you and give you a trip of a life time!


Prices are for 1-4 people. $50 per person after 4 people. Limit: 6 Clients per boat

Our Smallmouth Season in Minnesota starts Mothers Day Weekend in May and ends when the lake freezes in November.

There will be a 3.5% fee for all invoices and credit card transactions

About the Trip

Several days prior to your trip we will be in contact with you in concerns about a meeting place and time. We ask when booking a guide trip that there will be 50% non-refundable fee paid to reserve your date unless the trip is canceled by the guide due to the Weather Day Policy. The rest is to be paid in full on the day of your trip. Life happens, and if you need to cancel your trip the deposit can be put toward another future trip with us if you cancel before 30 days of your trip. If your looking at booking a group trip (more than two people), let us know and we can better accommodate for this. Please note that prices listed on trips do not include guide gratuity.

What to Bring

  • Valid Fishing License (can be purchased online)

  • Polarized sunglasses

  • Weather appropriate clothing (rain gear/warm clothing)

  • Water or other drinks

  • Food/Snacks

  • Fishing Gear- Anglers are welcome to bring any of their own gear they would like to use but it isn't mandatory. Your guide will have all the gear you need to have a successful day on the water.

Gratuity

Our guides are sometimes asked how much is appropriate to tip. Traditionally, if you enjoyed yourself and your experience with your guide, the tip should be 20%. Our guides give 110% every trip to ensure that you have a trip of a lifetime!

Weather Day Policy 

Inclement weather is a part of everyone's life.  Although rare, these days may spoil fishing or create unsafe conditions and cancellations are required. In the event of a weather day, there will be an effort to reschedule to accommodate for the client and the guide. If unable to reschedule, the initial deposit will be returned.
