Here at Livin' the Dream Guide Service, our main focus is giving our clients the trip of a lifetime. We are mainly located on the waters of northern Minnesota and Wisconsin where we fish for Smallmouth Bass, Pike, Musky and more! All of our guides have grown up and fished these watersheds which provides them with superior knowledge of the fishery.
No matter the level of experience you get into the boat with, our goal is to give you an unforgettable adventure you can cherish forever. We love to share in this experience and are looking forward to seeing you on the water, until then "Keep on Livin' the Dream!"
Meet the Guides
Luke Swanson is the owner and head guide for Livin' the Dream Guide Service. He has been an avid fisherman from a young age on and has been passionate about catching unforgettable fish. Starting off, he became a guide at Alagnak Lodge in Alaska, which then opened doors to becoming a full time guide in the midwest. He is a proud owner of a RiverPro jet boat. In his free time he enjoys musky fishing, camping, and coming up with new streamer patterns. As a Minnesota native, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing the waters in Minnesota as well as Northern Wisconsin. The passion Luke has towards fishing for and teaching people about smallmouth, pike, and especially musky is what drove Luke to become a full-time guide.
My name is Andrew Slette. I was born and raised in northwestern Minnesota while fishing the many lakes and rivers near my home. I currently live in Hawley, MN and am an electrician. My musky career began at age 8 when I landed my first musky on Lake of the Woods. I've been fishing for muskies ever since. I currently hold the Minnesota catch and release record musky and am the 2015 Fargo/Moorhead Musky Inc. Champion. I enjoy camping, playing hockey, and canoeing in the Boundary Waters, but whenever possible you will most likely find me on one of the many quality musky lakes in my area casting and boating big fish!
My name is Kenny Swanson, I'm passionate about getting people out winter ice fishing and spear fishing. This has been a family tradition for generations.... my grandpa, dad, myself and my kids all enjoy winter ice fishing and spearing. I remember the 1st time watching a northern pike come into the spear hole after my dad's bait, and from then on I was hooked. I raised all 3 of my boys looking down a 3' x 4' hole in the ice which were very special times. Today I'm in real-estate which gives me flexibility to have the opportunity to share my passion. I look forward to seeing you on the ice!
